Frequently Asked Questions

  • Wine, especially wine made without additives, is fragile to extreme temperatures. In order to ensure that we deliver you the best product, we do not ship once Texas gets too hot, which happens fairly quickly! If you purchase wine during the summer, we will hold it until the temperature is cool enough to ship (usually October).

    NM,NV,NY,OH,OK,OR,PA,SC,TN,TX,VA,WA,WI,WY

We cannot ship to: AK, AR, CT, DE, HI, MI, MD, NH, NJ, RI, SD, UT, VT, WV

  • Our wines are spontaneously fermented, unfiltered and free of additives, except sometimes SO2 (sulfites).

  • There are currently no certified organic vineyards in Texas or New Mexico. In our own vineyard we are learning to farm in a way that promotes soil health and minimizes degradation of the environment. Our goal is to seek out, partner with, learn from, and help develop other farmers who share these same values.

  • We sometimes add SO2 (sulfites) at bottling if we think it will make the wine taste better. If you are curious about a specific wine, check out our tech sheets that detail how each wine was made.

  • Yes.

  • None of our wines are ever filtered, meaning some of them could appear cloudy or have sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Sediment is naturally occurring, not harmful and even delicious!
